This simple, polished silver surround is the perfect setting to show off the chatoyance of the dreamy moonstone gem. Chatoyance is an optical effect, also known as a 'cat's eye effect' where light reflects off the crystalline structure inside the gemstones, creating a bright band of colour which dances around as the stone moves.
