Historical Romance

It would not be an Azendi gift guide without something from our most loved Heart of Yorkshire collection which is inspired by the beautiful stained-glass windows of York Minster. 

Constructed nearly seven hundred years ago, the Great West Window is a triumph of Medieval stained glass and stonework tracery, towering over the city. In the 1300's, the masons of York Minster completing the west window's heart-shaped traceries, must have been in awe at their creation. Over the centuries a tradition has grown in York that a couple who share a kiss under the West Window will enjoy lifelong love. 

Taking inspiration from this enchanting story, we conceived the 'Heart of Yorkshire' collection. This meaningful pendant recreates the flowing tracery of the iconic heart window in 9ct yellow gold. Highly polished and detailed, the pretty heart pendant is suspended from a fine 9ct yellow gold box chain.
