Azendi High Street Stores During Lock-Down

April 21, 2020 2 min read

We just wanted to take a moment here to update everyone on our high street stores and what is happening to them during the current UK lock-down.

Our Shops are Temporarily Closed

Our stores in Beverley, Harrogate, Leeds and York are all temporarily closed, in compliance with the current UK lock-down rules. Although the shops are closed, we are very pleased to say that our website is open for business. You can view all our collections online, and we are on-hand to help with any queries at customerservices@azendi.com. All the latest information about placing web orders can be found in our FAQ section here: Website FAQs

Unfortunately, we just don’t know at this stage when stores will be open again. We are continually reviewing the situation, and will continue to follow the advice from the Government and Public Health England.

What Is Happening to your Staff?

We are doing everything we can to support our staff and keep them safe and well. We are pleased to say that all store managers and sales assistants are retained and being paid, with help from the government furlough scheme. We are in regular contact with everyone and can't wait to all be able to see each other and work together again soon.

Where Can I Find the Latest News?

To receive the latest news on our stores you can follow us on social media, or sign up to our newsletter by using the link on our home page. Each store also has their own Instagram account, which will be the first place to find the news of re-opening.

What Happens Next?

While the stores are temporarily closed we are carefully making plans for what happens when we are allowed to re-open. It is likely that the stores will be allowed to open while there is still some form of social distancing to be maintained. We are preparing in advance and planning how we can keep customers and staff safe and socially distant. This may mean a few little changes, such as only serving one customer in store at a time, and additions such as screens and extra hygiene measures. We are considering everything and will be putting the health and safety or our staff and customers at the top of our list.

As always, thank you for being such a loyal customer. As a small independent business we truly appreciate your support. We very much hope to see you soon.
