History

Azendi was conceived in 1989 by Ian Jones in Headingley. Expanding to Harrogate in 1993 and York in 2000, things got off to a steady start. Opening in 2003, Reading, in Berkshire, was the first prime location store, which was quickly followed by more openings in Leeds, Edinburgh, Birmingham, Leicester and Liverpool. In the intervening years, Azendi has become a brand known all over the country to stand for quality of design, materials and workmanship. Azendi now has stores in eighteen UK cities, with more new stores in the pipeline for 2010/2011.

Azendi jewellery has always been precious. While other brands have drifted towards costume jewellery, Azendi has been firm in the belief that jewellery feels better in Silver or Gold. Retail Jeweller magazine described Azendi as "Fashionable, innovative and truly faultless". To add to that accolade, Azendi was voted Retailer of the Year at the UK Jewellery Awards. The judges called us inspirational and exciting; a prestigious award that we were delighted to receive.

We are a jewellery design company that offers a contemporary alternative to the High Street on the High Street. We specialise in contemporary designs in silver and gold. Our customers love the fact that our jewellery is both stylish and precious.

Design

Azendi is a British brand founded in Yorkshire. The name was chosen because it is contemporary and stylish. We have two designers working on new ranges to keep the stores constantly refreshed.

The store is, without question, the best place to see our collections. The stores have been designed so that you can browse all the collections inside the store with or without help from our excellent sales staff.
